What forms of payment do you accept?
I am currently only accepting clients on a self-pay basis. I can provide you with an itemized super bill* so that you can submit to your insurance company and request reimbursement.

What is a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist?
A registered dietitian nutritionist (RD or RDN) is an individual who has completed requirements for a graduate-level degree in nutritional sciences, has completed a 1200 supervised internship, and passed board examination to become credentialed. Additionally, dietitians are required to earn and maintain their credential by earning a number of continuing education credits every five years. RDs and RDNs are trained and possess skills to provide medical nutrition therapy (MNT) as well as nutrition counseling. There are many different scopes of practice under which RDNs can practice. From clinical nutrition, maternal/child health, school nutrition, public policy and advocacy, social justice, sports nutrition, etc.
Be aware that although all dietitians are nutritionists, not all nutritionists are dietitians. Nutritionists can typically earn this title via certification after taking a course and an examination. However, nutritionists are not legally permitted to provide medical nutrition therapy.
How long do I need to work with a dietitian for?
That depends on your health and nutrition goals. An estimated counseling length can be determined during our initial assessment. Contracting me for medical nutrition therapy requires investing your valuable time for improved outcomes.
If you're dealing with disordered eating patterns or an eating disorder, you'll likely find you need support on a more regular basis. Unlearning all of the disordered behaviors that have brought you up to this point in your life can take a very LONG time. We can work together on a weekly or biweekly basis, and for as long as necessary for normalization of eating patterns and management of eating disorder behaviors.
What is diet culture?
Diet culture refers to the systematic ways in which our obsession with dieting, losing weight, eating only "healthy foods", exercising for weight loss purposes in hopes of attaining the thin ideal show up. This can range from media ads recommending weight loss supplements, to comments from loved ones about your appearance, to believing in good vs bad foods. This is a very short list of ways in which diet culture shows up, contact me to find out more!
I need to lose weight, can you help me with this?
My approach focuses on healing your relationship with food/exercise/yourself and building healthy habits. This process may or may not result in weight loss. If your specific health/nutrition goals center around weight loss, I support your autonomy as an individual who is pursuing weight loss. We can discuss what might look like for you during a Discovery Call or Initial assessment.
